What lotion works best to get rid of facial acne?

I don’t have serious problems with acne…but they keep coming back in certain areas. I recently realized that they usually appear where i shaved. To be honest, i shave in the shower without shaving creme, just warm water. Is that bad? What lotion should i use. I tried the 3 step proactiv thing, but i dont get anything out of it.

I get microderabrasion about every 3 weeks and I think 99.8% of my acne is gone it’s just little red spots and stuff that is left. What really works on them that a 15 year old can work with? and does it make your skin sensitive or anything that i’d have to worry with or will it work well along with microdermabrasion.

I have a wonderful 17 year old daughter named Joanne who’s been suffering from moderate to severe acne for most of her teen years. I think I read somewhere that if she put curdled breastmilk on her face, it would help kill the bacteria.

I think I read in an article in Family Circle that you leave a jar of breast milk on the kitchen counter for a few days until it starts to curdle. That way, the enzymes in the milk are able to develop (kind of like in petri dishes).

I’m haven’t had a baby in years, so I’m not lactating, but one of my girlfriends down the street, Brenda, just had a baby girl. She’s happy to help and offered to donate some of her milk.

I sent Joanne over this afternoon to Brenda’s house with an applesauce jar to collect the milk. Has anyone else heard if this helps though?

I just bought some St. Ives apricot scrub for acne and blemish control. I didn’t notice until I got home that the expiration date had 04/2008. Should I return it or is it still safe to use? I think I’m gonna return it but I need some opinions. I tried to contact st. Ives but I could not find a company number. Thanks!
