Colon Cancer Symptoms?

I have a friend who has some possible symptoms of colon cancer. He is 22, and says when he goes to the bathroom, he bleeds a lot from his anus. He went to the doctor and they said it looked to be an internal hemorrhoid. His symptoms come and go, so my question is, if it is colon cancer, would the symptoms constantly be present? or do they come and go at different times?
Also, he said it gets worse when he eats spicy foods, and drinks alcohol.

Is there any other disease that its symptoms are similar to colon cancer?

I’m 19 yrs old, and I’ve been having every symptom to colon cancer except for the migraines. I currently have hemorrhoids but before I had that, I was constipated and the pressure in my lower back was intense (still is). I always thought that you only got constipated from not drinking enough water, and all I drink is water so I don’t see why I’d be constipated. I also have a lot of pelvic pains and I’ll sometimes have bloody discharge from my vagina. I went to the hospital once and they let me go saying I didn’t have anything at all, but I insist that I do.

Is it ok for anyone to use a colon cleanser?

I don’t need to lose weight or anything, but I don’t exactly eat healthy, and I saw on the news, that the colon cleanser is good for not just men, but also women, and that it cleans gunk out and helps prevent colon cancer. Is it only for people trying to avoid colon cancer or who want to lose weight, or can someone who wants to be healthy use it. I just don’t want to take anything that will hurt me if I don’t need it.

Last night I was plagued with terrible cramping, leading to a normal bowel movement, then to a significant amount diarrhea. All night I had nagging cramps and woke up gassy. I finally passed a small amount of looser stool and I noticed blood in it. I put on kitchen gloves and examined it (GROSS, sorry) and realized there was a clear/cloudy mucous and a bit of blood mixed in with it. I’m concerned as I’ve just read a WebMD article where a 27 year old woman had a similar problem, spanning over 6months, and it turned out to be colon cancer. This is the first time anything like this has happened to me, I usually don’t have any gastrointestinal issues. I’m a few days away from my menstrual cycle and I usually don’t get cramps before hand but that’s what these cramps feel like. There is no pain/itching near or around my rectum, no soreness whatsoever. I’m a healthy, 23 year old female. What could this be? Those are my only symptoms. Please and thank you.

How does Colon Cancer get to Stage 4 without any symptoms?

I have read many people write about how they or people they know have Stage 4 colon cancer and never had any symptoms. How is this possible? How could someone be completely healthy, have a perfect CBC,etc and yet have something that could potentially kill them in a short span?

Is it a hemorrhoid or colon cancer?

I have had bleeding, itching and lots of pain on and off for almost a year now. I’m too embarrassed to go to doctors but now I’m afraid that it could be colon cancer. Both my grandmas had colon cancer. I’m Just wondering if there are any other signs that it might be colon cancer or just hemorrhoids??
I forgot to mention that I’m only 19. I’ve also been experiencing weird gas like pains that are so painful they wake me up not sure if that has anything to do with it though?

In a week my husband is going to undergo colon cancer surgery, I’m very tense. what can I do?

With cancers like colon cancer, lung cancer etc, and someone NOT going through chemo, would they feel extremely fatigued like never when trying to go for a normal workout at the gym?? And then become even more nauseated?? cause doesnt cancer drain you of your energy as time passes since excess energy is fed to it??

Two days ago, I went to the restroom to go do “Number Two” and all of the sudden I realized there was a lot of blood in the water after I was almost “finished” doing my “business.” When cleaned myself, there were blood stains in the toilet paper. Since October 2009, every now and then, there have been blood stains in the toilet paper when I clean myself after going to do “Number Two”.

I checked myself in the mirror last night before taking a shower and I seem to have a small bump on the inside and the lips of my anus.

I live in the US and unfortunately, I cannot go to a doctor because I have not had health insurance since August ’09 because my employer canceled it to save the company money. I was thinking about going across the border to Mexico to get checked since down there healthcare is free (I have both nationalities).

More info:
- I’m a 21 year old male.
- 6 ft/ 140 lbs.
- I don’t drink/smoke.
- The bumps on my anus don’t hurt at all. I doubt they’re hemorrhoids.
- I don’t put stuff in my anus ever.
- I don’t participate in anal sex.

What does Small external hemorrhoids mean?

I had a Colonoscopy today the doctor said he has found Small external hemorrhoids.So should i worry can a Small external hemorrhoids become Colon Cancer?.Or it something that for the next 5years i should not have to worry about
