Right side of colon a bit sore when i squeeze my bottom together?

I think a week ago i noticed the right side of my colon was a bit sore and a few days ago i was having narrow stools which is weird because i don’t think i have ever had stools like that, they weren’t like pencil narrow but narrow and kinda flat. should i go see a physician or my doc?? Oh and i will admit to not eating very healthy(no fiber) lately or not eating at all somedays. I’m 17 by the way. any advice would be great even though the soreness will probably go away hopefully.

I’m 26 and my bowel movements have been irregular all my life
I’ve had stools where it was flat, thin (not pencil thin), normal, diarrhea or just loose an easily broken. I will be seeing an gastroenterologist for the first time. I have a family history of stomach cancer (only grandfather) but no colon cancer. I have a feeling he’s going to tell me that I’m too young for a colonoscopy and I’m out of the age range for colon cancer. During that visit with the gastroenterologist can I actually request a simple colon exam that could be done right there? Or do I have to take another day off to schedule these colon exams (colonoscopy, etc…)

what is the best type of fiber to clean out the colon?

When I go to the washroom my stools are very loose and watery, what is the best fiber to bulk up my stools so that my colon is healthier and my stools harder and darker?

Could he have mucus colitis, or something worse?

My husband (who is a bit of hypochondriac) has had irregular bowl movements for years. Usually, no matter what he eats, really, it could me a glass of water so to speak, he will be in the bathroom in minutes. It is almost always loose bowl movements. He had a colonostomy, maybe 2 years ago, that showed nothing but some mild hemorroids. Lately he has been experiencing more pain in his colon, very loose bowl movements, and now alot of mucus in his stools. no blood or anything, just mucus, and alot of it. he is worried, so i thought i’d ask. i think when they did the colonostomy and found him in good shape they just labeled it as irritable bowl, im not sure.

Puppy diahorrea more than a week. On antibiotics but not stabilising? Otherwise active and hydrated?

Sh e is only having diahorrea twice or three times a day when she would normally go out. The colour is light brown and soft vs the darker and hard stools. She is a great dane pup and only 13 weeks old. We have tried her on the chicken and rice only and also the vet recommended food but still not 100% better. Her antibiotics running out in 3 days. Should we wait and see or go again to vet? She is otherwise active and happy.

Okay,so I have some symptoms of colon cancer but they are also symptoms of general constipation. I have blood once in a while and my stools are very thin but I dont know if Id say they’re flat(and i hear colon cancer is flat stool) because they are round just really really skinny.

The symptoms I have are some fullness in my stomach area, constipation, skinny stool(not flat though), and had blood appear just twice so far.

Okay,so I went on a government (.gov) website for health and it is old statistics, but it said that 1.1% of people between ages 20 and 34 have colon cancer.

I’m 22. I’m young, I eat healthy most times, but last week I ate the candy store. I literally ate so much junk food it was insane, but after that I had a salad every day, but now I get this constipation..

After I ate about 4 days ago, I exercised immediately.. and after I exercised my stomach hurt like crazy, so maybe I disrupted my bowels??

Does this sound like It’s just constipation or colon cancer? Someone on a forum online said they had colon cancer at age 30 but do you think I’m unlucky enough to be one of the very few people who get it(1%)?

I have no one in my family who has had colon cancer, I do not drink, I do not smoke, I do not feel dizzy or sick to my stomach, I do not feel tired(I’m super hyper always), and I do not have pain in my stomach only discomfort.

for the past week i have had very bad constipation i have taken been taking miralax which is not working at all i have tried exlax just gave me very short thin flat thin stools and and im suffering i feel so bloated and i tried ducolax suppositorie just gave me the same thing what could it be

Can you add karo syrup to formula to relieve newborn constipation or must it be mixed with water?

My 12 week old son gets very hard stools and its painful for him so my doctor said to give him a bottle with karo syrup mixed with water. He takes it fine but then it makes him go longer without a formula feeding b/c it fills him up. Then it makes his later feedings very close together and it throws him off schedule. My question is, can I just add the karo to the formula, or must it be seperate with just water?

Is fiber necessary for somebody without a colin?

I had Ulcerative Colitis and my colon was taken out. We just started eating healthier and it seems like all the fiber is making my stools loose; too loose.

I have been having on and off black in my stools and now I had some red spots in some of them.

I also have butt pinches where it feels like a cramp down in the butt area.

I am not losing weight though I seem to can`t put more than two pounds on and then fall back to where I started.

The red went away for a day and came back today even though I only ate a cheeseburger.

So what do you think it is? I hope I don`t die. I am 23 and skinny.

Also my penis is small most of the time and i mean real small, but when aroused it goes medium to big, could this be part of the problem as well?
Its not black its mostly brown with some small black dots.
